Bowers Blaze Gear was built by me, Tim Bowers: a dad who believes being prepared is part of taking care of the people who count on you.

My approach to outdoor readiness comes from real time outdoors—years as a Scout leader, time as an Algonquin Park canoe ranger, small-boat ocean sailing, and a long-standing commitment to practical survival skills.

Those experiences taught me that good gear is not about looking tactical or preparing for an apocalypse. It is about staying calm, solving the next problem, and carrying equipment that is simple, useful, and familiar enough to use when it matters.
